TUMCREATE
Tillmann Peest is a Research Associate and PhD Student at TUMCREATE, working on the Proteins4Singapore project since January 2023. Previously, Tillmann completed a Master's thesis at Technische Universität München focused on scaling up lipid production using oleogenous yeast in a membrane bioreactor. Experience also includes roles as a Research Assistant at AMSilk GmbH, where biotechnology processes were piloted; at Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz, conducting research on the recovery of valuable substances from fermentation broths; and a Student Assistant position at Holzner GmbH. Tillmann's academic background includes a Master of Science in Industrial Biotechnology from Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biotechnology from Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz.
