Jun He

Principal AI Engineer at TuMeke

Jun Jun has worked in the field of Artificial Intelligence since 2003. Jun started their career as a Research Assistant at the Nanjing Automation Research Institute, where they worked on computer networking and software design and implementation. In 2006, they became a PhD Student at Southeast University, where they conducted research on low dimension geometric representation for spatial data and its application, as well as manifold-based high dimension data analysis for hyperspectral datasets. Jun also developed software for multi-scale representation for Mobile GIS. In 2008, they became a Research Fellow at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics, where they participated in the long program "Internet Multi-Resolution Analysis: Foundations, Applications and Practice" and collaborated with other research fellows to advance multiscale analysis. In 2010, they worked as a Research Associate at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where they were supervised by professor John C. S. Lui. From 2009 to 2022, Jun Jun was an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Artificial Intelligence at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. Jun supervised graduate students on the topics of machine learning theory and algorithms, deep learning models of computer vision and natural language processing, vision and language models. Jun also taught undergraduate and graduate courses in machine learning, deep learning, optimization, Python programming, data structure and algorithms. In 2022, they began working as a Principal AI Engineer at TuMeke Ergonomics.

Jun Jun completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Zhengzhou University from 1997 to 2001. Jun then went on to complete their Master of Science in Computer Science at Southeast University from 2002 to 2005. Jun Jun concluded their education with a PhD in High-dimension data analysis at Southeast University from 2006 to 2009.
