Mia Sapienza

Mia Sapienza is currently the VP of HR at TuneCore. Prior to that, they were the Director of US People Operations at Mosaic Group and before that the Director of HR & Talent at Splash.

Mia has extensive experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and organizational development. Mia has a passion for developing people and culture within companies and has been instrumental in growing the teams at both Mosaic Group and Splash.

At Mosaic Group, Mia oversaw all US People Operations for their portfolio of companies, which included Apalon, Daily Burn, iTranslate, and Teltech. Mia was responsible for recruiting, compliance, training, performance management, and employee relations.

At Splash, Mia was responsible for growing the team from 28 to 137 in 24 months. Mia developed recruitment strategy and implemented Greenhouse as the ATS. Mia also partner with the executive team to strategize on organizational design and structure for success. Mia advised VP and C-Level on all HR, People, and Talent initiatives, including employer branding opportunities, talent management, leadership development and training, performance management, employee relations, diversity planning, et al.

Mia Sapienza has a BA in Theatre from Vassar College, with a focus in Psychology and Religion. Mia is certified in Change Management Foundations from LinkedIn (2016), and Human Resources: Using Metrics to Drive HR Strategy from LinkedIn.

They are on a team with Dipanjan Kolay - Senior Director, Product, Matt Barrington - COO, and Maria Ho-Burge - Global Communications Director. Their manager is Andreea Gleeson, CEO.
