Renee J. Valdez has a long and varied work history. Renee J. began their career in 1999 as a Sales Rep for FlashNet. In 2000, they took a position as Wireless Tech Support & Intranet Usability for Verizon Wireless. After that, they worked as Label Manager for Buttermilk Records & Studios from 2004 to 2006, followed by a role as Design Coordinator for FreshNotes from 2006 to 2007. In 2007, they became a Freelance Designer for Inc.com & FastCompany.com for Mansueto Ventures. From 2008 to 2017, they held various roles at Viacom, including Senior Product Manager, Apps & Emerging Platforms, Senior Producer, Multiplatform Strategy & Development, and Producer, Mobile & Broadband Syndication. In 2018, they were Director of Product Development, Data & AI at SiriusXM, followed by Senior Director of Product at Napster Group from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President of Product at Tuned, where they are responsible for building the first hearing benefit provider for the modern world and managing the Product across all sectors including employers, healthcare providers, audiologists, and patients.

Renee J. Valdez has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Media from The City University of New York and an Associate of Arts in Audio Engineering from The Art Institutes. Renee J. also holds a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
