Charlie Vander Aarde has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Currently, they are working at Tunheim as a Senior Account Supervisor since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at Edgcumbe Hockey Association, Minnesota Brownfields, and Neighborhood STAR Program, City of St. Paul in different years. From November 2011 to October 2022, they worked at Metro Cities as a Government Relations Specialist. Charlie also worked as a Communications Specialist & Organizer at Warrior to Citizen Campaign Statewide Working Group from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, they served as a Communications Specialist at Minnesota House of Representatives from February 2011 to November 2011. From 2006 to January 2011, they worked at Minnesota Senate as a Leadership Assistant, where they fulfilled various responsibilities including research, bill coordination, and acting as the Senate liaison to the Governor's office and executive agencies. In the earlier part of their career, Charlie worked at World Affairs Council as the Director of the International Visitor Program from 2001 to 2006, where they played a pivotal role in the organization's strategic development, marketing, and team expansion.
Charlie Vander Aarde obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations & Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Charlie pursued this degree from 1996 to 2000.
