Laurence Lemiale is a seasoned expert in vaccine development, currently serving as a Sr Vaccine Development Subject Matter Expert at Tunnell Consulting, Inc. since October 2022. Previously, Laurence held the position of Senior Director of Product Development and Program Management at Sanaria Inc., where efforts focused on advancing malaria vaccine candidates, particularly the PfSPZ vaccine. Prior to this, Laurence directed the BioDefense Division at Emergent BioSolutions, leading the development of next-generation anthrax vaccines with significant funding from the US government. As a Senior Program Officer at PATH, Laurence managed multiple projects in malaria vaccine development and collaborated extensively with various partners. Laurence's career commenced at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) as a Project Manager and Quality Assurance Specialist, overseeing vaccine research initiatives. Laurence holds a Doctor of Pharmacy and an MBA, offering a strong foundation in both pharmaceutical sciences and business management.
