Mercy Kiprono

Mercy Kiprono is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in operations and social entrepreneurship. Currently serving in operations at Turaco since February 2023, Mercy also co-founded Toropal in January 2019. As the founder of GuardFem Organisation and BankFem Limited since December 2017, Mercy is dedicated to educating communities and eradicating practices such as Female Genital Mutilation and Early Marriage, while advocating for increased access to education for girls in rural Kenya. Educational credentials include a recent experience at Harvard Business School (2022-2023) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, and Statistics from Kenyatta University (2018-2022), complemented by a high school diploma from Alliance Girls High School (2014-2017).
