Chris McKillop has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Research Fellow at The Robert Gordon University until 2007. In 2008, they joined TVO's Independent Learning Centre as a Researcher. Chris then moved on to the University Health Network in 2011, serving as a Research Associate until 2013. Following this, they worked as a Clinical Research Specialist II at St. Michael's Hospital from 2013 to 2016. Since 2014, Chris has been the CEO of turalt - the technology of empathy, where they use AI to help companies increase empathy and improve relationships among employees and clients.
Chris McKillop has a strong educational background in the field of technology and computer systems. They obtained a PhD in Educational Technology from Robert Gordon University between 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, they completed an MSc in Human-Centred Computer Systems at the University of Sussex from 1996 to 1997. Chris also holds a BA (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence, which they earned from the University of Sussex between 1993 and 1996.
