Jack Mitchell has extensive experience in the baking industry. Jack started their career at Flowers Baking Company in 1981 as a Plant Superintendent, where they were responsible for overseeing all operations and managing a team of department heads, supervisors, and employees. Jack then joined East Balt in 1989 as a Plant Manager, where they not only managed the plant operations and a team of employees but also traveled to different countries for new bakery startups and troubleshooting. In 2009, Jack joined Turano Baking Company as a Plant General Manager and later became the Corporate Director of Operations. In their current role, they oversee all plant operations and departments, including a team of department heads and field service personnel.
Jack Mitchell attended the American Institute of Baking from 1993 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Food Science with a focus on Industrial Baking. Prior to that, from 1978 to 1980, they studied at Rollins College, earning a degree in Accounting with a specialization in Business.
