Arpad Varga

Arpad Varga has a diverse work experience in scientific research and academia. Arpad is currently working as an Associate Scientist at Turbine, a position they began in October 2022. Prior to this, they were a Research Associate at the HCEMM / Hungarian Centre of Excellence for Molecular Medicine since February 2020. Arpad also has experience at the University of Szeged, where they held various roles including Research Associate - Doctoral Candidate and PhD Student from September 2017 to the present. Arpad was also a part of the Genome Integrity and DNA Repair Group at the University of Szeged Dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from September 2014 to May 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Demonstrator at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Science and Informatics in 2015 and was a part of the Laboratory of Embryonic and Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells at the Institute of Genetics, Biological Research Centre, Szeged from September 2013 to September 2014.

Arpad Varga obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Szeged between the years 2012 and 2015. Arpad continued their education at the same university and earned a Master's Degree in Biology in the field of study Biologist from 2015 to 2017.
