Mauri Helffrich

Mauri Helffrich is a Sr. Project Engineer at Turelk, Inc. since August 2022 and has owned Write-Minded Tutoring since September 2012, focusing on coaching elementary students and preparing junior high and high school students for college-level writing. Previous experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at PGA Concrete & Construction Services, managing a $4 million project in Los Angeles, and creating various operational documents. Additionally, Mauri worked as a Writing Tutor at Chapman University and held managerial positions at Barnes & Noble, overseeing significant sales targets and human resource activities. Early career roles included positions at Kiodex and Credit Suisse First Boston, emphasizing human resources and administrative support. Mauri holds an MFA and MA in Creative Writing and English Literature from Chapman University and a BA in Creative Writing from The New School.
