Somakraj Banerjee

Somakraj Banerjee is a Research Analyst at Turing since July 2024 and has been serving as a Senior Research Fellow in the Chemical Engineering Department at Jadavpur University since August 2019, focusing on a DST-WTI project that develops methods for heavy metal removal from water using adsorption and nanotechnology. Somakraj also completed a Research Internship at National Cheng Kung University from January to March 2024, studying the formation and stability of catanionic vesicles for advanced drug delivery applications. Additionally, involvement with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers as a Graduate Student Member occurred from October 2020 to September 2021. Somakraj is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Jadavpur University, having previously earned a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution.
