James Roach

Director Of Vehicle Software And Operations at Turion Space

James Roach has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as Pool Manager at Swim Atlanta Pool Management from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Web Developer at Mogul Finder, and a Software Developer Intern at Equifax. During this same time period, they also worked as a Full Stack Developer at Four Athens. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Software Developer for Lab Operations and Electronics Teams at the Small Satellite Research Laboratory, and a Software Architect and Engineer for the Computational Drug Discovery Lab at the University of Georgia College of Engineering. In 2018, they were a Flight Software Engineer at the Space Dynamics Laboratory. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Research Computer Scientist and a Flight Software Research Engineer at NASA Ames Research Center. Currently, they are the Director of Vehicle Engineering, Lead Satellite Software Engineer, and Flight Software Engineer at Turion Space.

James Roach attended The University of Georgia from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. James also obtained a certification from the American Red Cross for Redcross CPR certified.
