Turlock Irrigation District
Bryan Wiemers is an experienced engineering technician currently serving as a Senior Engineering Technician in Power Generation at Turlock Irrigation District since May 2023. Bryan's extensive background includes over two decades at Foster Farms Poultry as a Senior Project Designer and CAD Project Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed design, drafting, and engineering document management, along with providing CAD support to various departments. Prior to that, Bryan held positions such as Production Engineering Manager at Systems Engineering and Manufacturing, Project Engineer at Saunco Air Technologies, and Mechanical Draftsman at Diamond Walnut Growers, utilizing AutoCAD to produce detailed designs for diverse industrial applications. Bryan earned an Occupational Associate Degree in Mechanical Design and Drafting CAD/CADD from the National Education Center - Arizona Automotive Institute and holds a diploma from East Union High School.
Turlock Irrigation District
Established in 1887, the Turlock Irrigation District is the first publicly owned irrigation district in the state and one of only four in California today that also provides electric retail energy directly to homes, farms and businesses. Organized under the Wright Act, the District operates under the provisions of the California Water Code as a special district. TID is also an independent control area and is governed by a five member Board of Directors.
