Jose Sanchez

Jose Sanchez currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Oakdale Joint Unified School District since July 2024. Concurrently, Jose is a member of the Board of Trustees for Turlock Unified School District, a position held since December 2020. Prior leadership experience includes serving as School Principal at Sylvan Union School District from July 2023 to July 2024 and Human Resources Director at Merced City School District between December 2022 and October 2023. Jose dedicated 16 years at Patterson Joint Unified School District, first as Alternative Education Principal overseeing various programs, and earlier roles included Elementary School Principal and Elementary Assistant Principal. Jose began as an Elementary School Teacher at Sylvan Union School District from July 2004 to November 2006 and holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from California State University, Stanislaus and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fresno.
