Pippa Yeats

Pippa Yeats is the Co-Founder and Product Manager at Turn.io. Prior to this, they were the Head of Strategy & Experience Design at Praekelt.org from August 2013 to November 2018, where they built a multidisciplinary team responsible for complex mission-critical research, strategy, design and content. Pippa was also on the organisation’s steering committee and established the human-centred service design practice in the organisation. Prior to this, they were a Creative Technologist at Praekelt Consulting from March 2012 to July 2013. Pippa is a speaker at International conferences on mobile for development.

Pippa Yeats attended Stellenbosch University, where they earned a BA (Hons) in Fine Art: Creative Jewellery Design. Pippa then attended the University of the Arts London, where they earned a Master in Design in Innovation & Creativity in Industry (now Service Design Innovation). Finally, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they earned an Executive MSc in Behavioural Science in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences.
