Robert Mueller currently serves as the Vice President of Compliance & Government Affairs at Turn Services, overseeing safety, security, and compliance for a towboat and fleeting company, while also managing governmental relations at various levels. As an Adjunct Professor at Tulane University since 2008, Robert teaches courses in Maritime Homeland Security and Transportation and Border Security. Prior experience includes a distinguished 30-year career with the U.S. Coast Guard, where Robert held the position of Captain and Deputy Sector Commander for Sector New Orleans, notably directing rescue efforts during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Robert holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from the U.S. Naval War College and a Bachelor's degree from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
