Pete Davis

Mr. Davis is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder of Turnberry Solutions. Mr. Davis has over 30 years of combined Software Development, Systems Engineering, and Management experience. His deep technical background combined with his broad industry experience provide him with a unique ability to effectively and efficiently apply technology to solving complex business problems.

Mr. Davis has been engaged as a senior technology consultant to Comcast, architecting and deploying their High Speed Data and VoIP services products. Mr. Davis played an instrumental role in Comcast's migration away from Excite@Home. This migration process entailed extensive work with provisioning systems, web services, portals, messaging systems, directory infrastructure, as well as customer care tools. Mr. Davis has also been instrumental in architecting and deploying solutions in support of Comcast's acquisition of AT&T Broadband, Comcast’s residential VoIP Portal and their commercial Business Class services.

Mr. Davis started his career working for Leeds and Northrup doing real-time, mission critical software engineering for their distributed controls systems group. From there, Mr. Davis joined Sun Microsystems where he focused on architecting mission critical IT solutions for Fortune 500 companies. During his five years with Sun Microsystems, Mr. Davis specialized in Java technologies from Java's introduction in 1995. Mr. Davis also designed highly available and scalable clustered architectures for mission critical business applications. Other career highlights include senior technology positions for several software companies in the areas of CRM, EAI, Knowledge Management, and Collaboration.

Mr. Davis holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College, and a MS degree in Computer Science from Villanova University. Mr. Davis resides in Haverford, PA.
