Chris Simmons

Chris Simmons is a seasoned procurement professional with diverse experience in various sectors. Currently serving as a Procurement Consultant at Turner & Townsend since September 2022, Chris previously held the role of Procurement Lead at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from August 2021 to September 2022 and worked as a Commercial Officer at the UK Ministry of Defence between September 2017 and August 2021. Earlier career experiences include working as an Activities Assistant at the Eden Project while attending university and as a Machine Operator at Fastlane Auto from September 2012 to August 2014. Chris holds an MCIPS in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Swansea University. Professional development includes further education with RICS scheduled from March to November 2025.
