James Prime

James Prime serves as the Global Sustainability Lead at Turner & Townsend since June 2021, focusing on environmental transformation and decarbonisation in collaboration with ESG colleagues. Concurrently, James holds the position of Associate Director and Principal Consultant at IEMA, actively contributing as a committee member in the North East branch. Prior experience includes significant roles at the Energy Institute, where James served as Vice-Chair and Secretary of the North East Young Professional Network, and as Sustainability Manager at Bowmer & Kirkland Ltd. James began a career in environmental consulting with Groundwork North East & Cumbria, assisting various organizations in improving their environmental performance. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Renewable Energy, Enterprise and Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Geography, both from Newcastle University.
