Nick Pownall

Nick Pownall is an experienced Project Director specializing in infrastructure at Turner & Townsend since June 2021. Prior to this role, Nick served at Heathrow from April 2012 to March 2021, where responsibilities included leading capital project delivery in airside, landside, and off-airport locations, as well as managing a £175 million baggage screening project and driving strategic capital investment programs to maximize infrastructure asset value. Previous positions include Senior Project Engineer at BAA and Site Agent roles at Morgan Sindall, with significant contributions to energy strategies for Heathrow. Nick holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University, completed in 2004, and has been actively involved with the Institution of Civil Engineers, serving as Vice Chairman of the Graduates and Students Network from 2006 to 2008.
