Bernard Maat

Bernard Maat has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Bernard most recently worked at Turners Automotive Group as a Network and Security Lead and previously as a Senior Network Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Spectrum Consulting as a Senior Network Engineer. Bernard also held positions at de Volksbank, NiVo network architects, CloudMerge BV, Quanza Engineering B.V., Logica, ITsec Security Services B.V., and Niko (IR-Services), where they gained expertise in network engineering, security, incident/change management, and research.

Bernard Maat obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology, Technical Computing Science from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their MBO in Telematica/ICT from Friesland College from 2004 to 2008. Bernard'seducation started with a VMBO in Elektro techniek from Linde College from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Bernard also holds various certifications including FCNSA, FCNSP, JNCIA, NSE4, and RCSA from institutions such as Fortinet, Juniper Networks, and Riverbed Technology.
