Don Becker

Don Becker has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Don began their career in the United States Air Force, serving in the 1st Special Operations Wing from 1986 to 1990. Don then joined Prudential Service Bureau, Inc. as an Associate Manager, where they supervised various units and provided services related to COBRA, FSA, and health claims between 1990 and 1994.

In 1995, Don moved to Aegon, where they worked as a Relationship Manager and CST until 1997. Don then joined Yum! Brands in 1997, initially serving as a Manager and Insured Litigation/Senior Litigation Specialist until 2006. During this time, they managed a large number of tort cases for multiple restaurant brands and provided insurance coverage opinions.

Don's responsibilities expanded when they became the Division General Counsel for LJS/A&W at Yum! Brands from 2010 to 2011. Don managed the Division Legal Team and handled various legal matters such as litigation, franchising, disclosures, bankruptcies, and IP issues.

From 2012 to 2016, Don held the position of Director and Corporate Counsel at Yum! Brands, overseeing litigation and commercial contract teams for three global brands. Don provided global support for insurance, food safety, regulatory affairs, and compliance initiatives.

Don's most recent role is with Turning Point Brands, Inc., where they serve as the Deputy General Counsel and VP of Legal Services since August 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Assistant General Counsel at the same company since January 2016.
