Kat Winton

Kat Winton is a dedicated mental health professional with experience in therapy and counseling. Since October 2015, Kat has served as an MFT Intern at Turning Point Counseling, following a tenure as an MFT Trainee at Frances Smith Center for Individual & Family Therapy, where Kat managed therapy sessions for individual and couple clients and developed a group therapy curriculum focused on healthy relationships. Additionally, Kat co-facilitated a program at Kids First, educating parents on co-parenting during divorce. Prior to entering the mental health field, Kat worked as an Accounting Specialist at Pacific Enterprise Bank, where strong professionalism and a rapid promotion trajectory underscored determination and adaptability. Kat holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Leadership and Organizational Studies from the same institution.
