Maisha Florance

Maisha Florance is an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist with a career that began in 2008. Currently, Maisha serves at Turning Point Counseling, providing integrative faith-based therapeutic support to clients, while also offering spiritual guidance. Previous roles include a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, focusing on educational workshops in marital satisfaction and parenting, as well as a trainee at SPIRITT Family Services, where Maisha facilitated anger management groups and supported clients in domestic violence recovery. Early experience at The Gary Center involved school-based counseling for children and their families. Maisha holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Management from Howard University.
