Scarlet Steele

Scarlet Steele is a BioTDR Researcher at Eli Lilly and Company since June 2023 and has been a Research Assistant at San Diego State University since August 2021, focusing on plant ecology, evolution, and genetics. Previous roles include JIB Camera Operator and Videographer at Turning Point for God, a Respite Worker for special needs children at ARCC Center Foundation, and Director of Videography and Camera Operations en Español at Shadow Mountain Community Church. Scarlet also served as an Assistant Biologist at Eli Lilly & Company for a summer in 2022. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University, complemented by coursework at Grossmont College and Cuyamaca College.
