Varun Das

Varun Das has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Varun currently works as a Strategic Partnerships - Banking Partners at Turno since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Freo in the same role from February 2021 to May 2023.

Before their roles in the banking industry, Varun gained valuable experience at eGovernments Foundation. Varun started as a Manager - Strategy & Partnerships in September 2018 and was promoted to Senior Manager - Strategy & Partnerships in July 2020. During their time there, they collaborated closely with Founder Nandan Nilekani and the CEO to develop and execute new strategies. Varun also established partnerships with CXOs and government consulting industry partners while implementing effective processes to manage multiple partners on a national scale.

Earlier in their career, Varun worked at Edelweiss Financial Services as an Associate - Credit Products in Private Wealth Management from April 2017 to September 2018. Varun also had a summer internship at the same company in the Retail Finance division.

Varun's work experience began at Cisco, where they served as a Network Consulting Engineer from August 2013 to March 2015. Overall, Varun has demonstrated their ability to develop partnerships, execute strategies, and manage multiple stakeholders throughout their career.

Varun Das completed their education at various institutions. From 2015 to 2017, they attended the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, where they pursued a program known as PGP 19. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, they studied at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. During their time at Pilani, Varun obtained a Master of Science (Technology) degree in Information Systems. Additionally, they have received certifications in Strategic Partnerships from LinkedIn in October 2019 and as a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco in October 2013.
