Larissa Pikor has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and research. Larissa started their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at BC Cancer in August 2014 and worked there until March 2015. Larissa then joined the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in May 2015 and stayed there for five years. In 2020, Larissa Pikor joined Turnstone Biologics as a Senior Scientist, and later became the Associate Director of Immunology in January 2023.
Larissa Pikor completed their Bachelor of Science, Honours (BScH) degree in Life Science from Queen's University from 2004 to 2009. Simultaneously, they also obtained a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (BPHE) degree from Queen's University during the same time period. Later, from 2009 to 2014, Larissa pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Interdisciplinary Oncology from The University of British Columbia.
