Achal Verma

Achal Verma is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Turo, the leading car-sharing marketplace, since March 2022. Previously, Achal worked at OpenCrowd for four years, contributing to the Hashgraph team by developing claim functionalities related to cryptographic proofs and transaction signing. Prior experience also includes a role at Integra Technologies LLC, where automation scripts for cloud services were developed using Python and Django, and positions at JDA Software focused on inventory optimization and intern assignments that involved digitizing pipeline systems at Bhilai Steel Plant. Achal holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
