VP, Tax, Treasury & Procurement at Turo

Francisco Silva has been working in the field of taxation for over 15 years. Francisco started their career at Ernst & Young in 2005 as an International Tax Manager. Francisco then moved to CareFusion in 2009, where they served as the company's Senior International Tax Manager. In this role, Francisco provided international tax advice on a variety of issues, including planning initiatives, transfer pricing, mergers and acquisitions, foreign reorganizations, finance structures, business expansion, and entity simplification. Francisco also worked closely with a variety of business units to ensure that transactions had the proper US and foreign tax treatment.

In 2012, Francisco joined Razer Inc. as the General Manager for Americas. Francisco held this position until March 2019, when they transitioned to their current role as VP of Tax, Treasury & Procurement at Turo. In this role, Francisco is responsible for managing all aspects of the company's tax compliance, tax planning, and treasury functions. Francisco is also responsible for procurement activities and overseeing the company's financial risk management strategy.

Francisco Silva has a LL.M from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law in Taxation and a LL.M in Tax Law (Mexico) from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. Francisco also has a Doctor of Law - JD from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in Law.

Francisco Silva reports to Chuck Fisher, CFO. They are on a team with Brent Loder - VP, Finance, Jennifer Schultz - SVP, Corporate Controller.
