Marikita Marinaki

Marikita Marinaki is a skilled data scientist with extensive experience in data analysis and research. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Turo since August 2019, Marikita has progressed through various roles including Senior Data Scientist and Data Science Intern. Prior to Turo, a notable project involvement occurred at the University of California, Berkeley, where Marikita worked as a Tech Lead on the "Steps - Omics" approach to weight loss, focusing on data manipulation to predict outcomes related to obesity and diabetes. Additional experience includes a Research Assistant position at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, conducting experiments on Alzheimer's disease, and a Research Internship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Marikita holds a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
