Ryan Kost

Ryan Kost has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ryan started their career at Avera Health in 2013 as a Public Policy Intern, where they advocated for the organization to external stakeholders on issues related to primary care access and the Medicaid program. In 2014, they transitioned into a role in Provider Relations within the Insurance Division, focusing on building and maintaining strong provider networks for Avera Health Plans commercial and self-funded groups. In 2015, Ryan took on the position of Managed Care Analyst, providing data-driven analytical support to evaluate managed care processes and assess value-based reimbursement models. Ryan also assisted in contracting and credentialing efforts with commercial insurance payers. From 2018 to 2021, Ryan served as a Data Repository Integration Engineer, utilizing SQL Server Management Studio and R Programming to develop Business Intelligence applications and tools. Currently, Ryan works at Turquoise Health as a Senior Product Solutions Engineer, utilizing their expertise to contribute to the company's product solutions.

Ryan Kost attended the University of South Dakota from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Health Services Administration. Additionally, during their time at the university, they also pursued a minor in Political Science.
