Jo Cole

Jo Cole (MCIPD) is an accomplished People Director with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently leading the People and Culture Strategy at Turtle Bay Restaurants since April 2019, Jo oversees more than 2000 employees across 52 UK locations. Prior to this role, Jo served as Head of Human Resources & People Development at Gourmet Burger Kitchen from September 2009 to March 2019, focusing on strategic planning, talent management, and employee engagement. Additional roles at Gourmet Burger Kitchen included UK Training Manager and Training Manager, where Jo developed training programs and compliance training initiatives. Earlier career experience includes HR & People Development Manager at Clapham House Group and Openings Manager at Tootsies Restaurants. Jo holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development from the University of Brighton.
