Matthew Russell

Matthew Russell is currently the Outsource Art Director at Turtle Rock Studios. Matthew has over thirteen years of experience in the gaming industry, having worked as an Outsource Art Manager, Senior Animator, and Team Lead for companies such as Amazon, Epic Games, and Valve Software. Matthew was also the Lead Animator on the 2006 film "The Ant Bully." In addition to their work in the gaming industry, Russell is also a Mentor at Animation Mentor.

Matthew Russell completed an associates degree in computer animation from The Art Institutes. Matthew also has a degree in theater from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Matthew attended Sevier County High School.
