Charles Montgomery

Charles Montgomery is an experienced research and formulation chemist with a robust career spanning several companies in the cosmetic and chemical industries. Currently serving as a Research Chemist at Turtle Wax, Inc. since 2016, Montgomery specializes in formulating car washes and interior detailers. Previous roles include Research and Development Chemist at Cedar Concepts Corporation, where Montgomery developed various chemical compounds and reformatted MSDS sheets. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Chemist at PartyLite, where Montgomery led projects to create cost-effective candle formulas, and as a Formulation Chemist at Blistex Inc., primarily working on lip balms and acne products. With early career experience at Unilever, Stepan Company, and Soft Sheen Products, Montgomery’s extensive expertise is supported by an MS and BS in Chemistry from Fisk University.
