Aletta Schnitzler has a long and varied career in the sciences. Aletta began their career in 1997 as a Laboratory Technician at Harvard Medical School/MEEI, where they were responsible for positional cloning via AFLP DNA fingerprinting and chromosomal walking, as well as zebrafish husbandry. Aletta then moved to Millipore Corporation in 1998 as a Research Scientist. In 2000, they joined Millipore Corporation in France as a Field Support Scientist. In 2007, they became a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Boston University School of Medicine. From 2010 to 2021, they held a variety of roles at MilliporeSigma, including R&D Head, Cultured Meat; Strategy & Transformation, Head of Cell Therapy Bioprocessing, Head of PD Services, and Cell Biologist. Most recently, they were appointed Chief Scientific Officer at TurtleTree in 2021.
Aletta Schnitzler received their B.S. in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1997. Aletta then completed their Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Immunology from the Boston University School of Medicine in 2007. There is no additional information available regarding their education prior to 1993.
