Sirpa Korte

Sirpa Korte is an experienced public transport professional currently serving as the Public Transport Director for Turun kaupunki - Åbo stad - City of Turku since August 2005. In this role, Korte head the public transport authority for Turku and the surrounding region, overseeing operations across six municipalities. Prior experience includes project management at Ramboll Finland focusing on transport planning for national and European Union projects, as well as work with the Finnish Road Administration. Korte's early career involved various roles in traffic planning and site management, alongside a comprehensive educational background with a Master's degree in Traffic from Tampere University of Technology and additional leadership qualifications from various institutions.
