It is a not for profit, guarantee limited company based on public - private partnership and is a wholly owned subsidiary of PIDC (Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation). It has been established to upgrade technology and skills of key and strategic industrial clusters and connect Pakistan to the global value-chain. TUSDEC is created with a goal to support Pakistani industries to ‘jump the curve’ by creating a series of ‘jumps’ (i.e. technology upgrades) that ultimately result in manufacturing parity with the developed world.
