Shailesh Kulkarni

Shailesh Kulkarni is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, currently serving as the CTO and co-founder at Tusk IC since January 2018, where responsibilities include driving mmWave technology and strategic direction. Prior experience includes working as an RFIC design engineer at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., focusing on next generation cellular technology, and serving as a PhD Research Assistant at KULeuven MICAS, where design techniques for CMOS broadband circuits aimed at 5G wireless communication were developed. Academic qualifications include a PhD from KU Leuven, a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Additionally, early career experiences involved internships and roles in microelectronics, ASIC physical design, and project assistance in network-on-chip architectures.
