Pebblin Warren

Trustee at Tuskegee University

Pebblin Warren was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in a special election for House District 82 on March 8, 2005 she currently serves on the Ways & Means General Fund, Rules, Health and Lee County Legislation. Education has always been an important aspect of Pebblin’s life. She graduated from Tuskegee University in 1974 with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration and she also holds a M.Ed. degree in Personnel Administration from Tuskegee University along with a certificate of Business from the University of Notre Dame Graduate Division.

After a long distinguished career, Pebblin retired from ADIT in November 2015. Representative Warrens has received many honors from countless organizations such as: Outstanding Volunteer Service Award, Aid to Inmate Mothers, John H. Buchanan, Jr. Distinguished Service Award, Judge and Banquet Speaker, 1998 Buffalo Rock, James C. Lee Student of the Year Scholarship Program, Outstanding Service Award, Alabama College System Deans of Student Affairs Association, Montgomery Advertiser Community Volunteer Profile, Macon County Cancer Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity, and Tutwiler Prison Volunteer.

Along with these many honors Pebblin finds time to serve her community through her membership at Westminster Presbyterian Church as an Elder, in her role as Macon County Chapter Vice President for the Democratic Party 82nd District, as a dedicated member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Tuskegee Alumnae Chapter (Immediate Past President). Supporting her husband, Sheriff David M. Warren as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Alabama Sheriffs Association and a number of other community organizations and activities. She currently serves on the Tuskegee University Board of Trustees.
