Alister Ryan

Alister Ryan has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Alister is currently the Chief Digital Officer at Tuatahi First Fibre since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Consultant at Utilligent from October 2018 to April 2020. Alister also briefly served as a Senior Consultant at Techspace Consulting Limited from July 2018 to November 2018. Before that, Alister held the position of Head of Architecture and Governance at Chorus NZ Limited from April 2012 to April 2018. Alister worked as a Senior Consultant at Techspace Consulting Limited from August 2010 to April 2012. Alister started their career at Vodafone New Zealand in 2003, where they held various management roles, including Head of Technology Planning from September 2007 to August 2010, Planning Manager from January 2006 to September 2007, Transmission Team Manager from May 2005 to January 2006, and Delivery Team Manager from August 2003 to May 2005.

Alister Ryan attended the University of Canterbury from 1989 to 1992, where they pursued a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Alister completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) during this time period.
