Miguel Fuentes Buchholtz

Miguel Fuentes Buchholtz has a diverse work experience in various fields. Miguel is currently the General Manager for the Chile site at PagerDuty, a role they started in June 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Information Technology Advisor at Orionx.com since July 2018. In 2015, they co-founded TUTEN, a company where they held the position of Co-Founder. Miguel also co-founded and was a member of the board at Variacode since June 2014, where they were involved in various projects and responsibilities including API design and development, data processing, anti-fraud systems, and mobile app development.

Miguel pursued their interest in blockchain technology and served as a Blockchain Enthusiast at Blockchain from July 2016. Additionally, they co-founded CEPTINEL RegTech in August 2016, where they acted as an IT advisor and member of the board until June 2022. Miguel has also worked as an independent consultant in the field of computer science since July 2018.

Miguel has also gained valuable experience at Rundeck, Inc. where they worked as a Rundeck Specialist since December 2015, showcasing their expertise in this field. Miguel has also held key positions at Bolsa de Comercio de Santiago. As Chief Systems Engineer from March 2013 to June 2014, they managed the Stock Exchange services operation and supervised the DBA and Sysadmin teams. Miguel served as a Software Architect from August 2011 to February 2013, where they proposed, designed, and developed an online code generator management tool. Additionally, as a Software Engineer from December 2010 to July 2011, Miguel contributed to the design and development of various systems related to financial markets.

Furthermore, they worked as a Freelance Streambase Consultant at George Mason University from October 2012 to November 2013. Overall, Miguel Fuentes Buchholtz has a strong background in technology, software development, and consulting, with extensive experience in various companies and roles.

Miguel Fuentes Buchholtz obtained a degree in Ingeniero Civil en Informática (Computer Science) from Universidad Austral de Chile, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they have achieved several certifications. Miguel obtained the Certified StreamBase Developer certification from Streambase in May 2012. Furthermore, they obtained the Incident Responder Certification and PagerDuty Foundational Practitioner Certification from PagerDuty in July 2022 and October 2022, respectively.
