Jennifer Deutscher

Jennifer Deutscher serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Adelphi University, teaching courses in Technical Drawing in Anthropology and Scientific Illustration since August 2022. In addition, Jennifer operates as a professional math and science tutor with Tutor Associates, providing personalized academic and test preparation support. As a freelance Scientific Illustrator with Alithographica Arts, Jennifer focuses on scientific illustrations while also completing fine art commissions and patent drawings. In the role of Social Media Coordinator for the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, Jennifer manages and executes social media strategies. Jennifer's previous experience includes roles as a Junior Research Scientist and Undergraduate Research Assistant at New York University, contributing to genetics and evolution research. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Study with a focus on Biological Sciences and Illustration from New York University, along with a Certificate in Botanical Illustration from the New York Botanical Garden.
