Krasi Shapkarova

Krasi Shapkarova has extensive experience in career coaching and education. Krasi currently works as a Resume Writer/Editor at YES Career Coaching & Resume Writing Services, where they interview clients and writes resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles. Prior to this role, they served as a Career Coach at Quarterlife Center (QLC), supporting clients through the job search process and creating content for an online career course. Krasi also worked as an Online English Writing Tutor at Tutor.com, assisting high school and college students with their writing projects.

Krasi has a background in coaching and education at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. Krasi worked as an Associate Director of Coaching & Education and Career Coach, where they supported graduate business students with career exploration and job search processes through coaching, workshops, and courses. Early in their career, Krasi worked as an Associate at the Human Trafficking Center at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies. Krasi has also held research intern and research assistant positions at Courtney's House and the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking, respectively.

Krasi holds a position as a Writing Tutor and Research Design and Statistics Instructional Assistant at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Their responsibilities include tutoring students in writing and providing assistance in research design and statistics.

Krasi Shapkarova has a diverse education history. Krasi obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Concord University in 2006. Following this, they pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical Psychology: Behavioral Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL) between 2006 and 2008.

In 2011, Krasi enrolled in the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, where they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Human Rights in 2013. During their time at the Josef Korbel School, they also briefly attended Syracuse University's Maxwell School.

To further enhance their skills, Krasi pursued a Certificate in Teaching Writing from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their academic achievements, Krasi has obtained several certifications. Krasi became an Academies-Certified Strengths Coach through The Academies Inc: Career Coach Academy | Job Search Academy | Leadership Coach Academy in 2022. Krasi also obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021.

Krasi's certification in MBTI Step I and Step II was obtained through The Myers & Briggs Foundation in 2016. In 2015, they became a Certified Career Management Coach through The Academies Inc. Krasi also completed CareerLeader Training conducted by Dr. James Waldroop of Harvard Business School in the same year.
