Lana Slavutsky

Lana Slavutsky began their work experience in 2004 as a Photographer for CPI Corp. Lana then interned at Hearst Corp. Good Housekeeping Magazine in 2008. In the same year, they also started working as an Essay Writing Tutor at Tutor.com, where they assisted students at different education levels and provided writing support. Lana Slavutsky joined NYC DOE in 2010 as a Teacher and later became a Substitute Teacher, assuming responsibility for various classrooms during teacher absences. In 2012, they worked as an SES Instructor at Binet, Inc., administering supplemental instruction and implementing literacy strategies.

Lana Slavutsky obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature from Hunter College, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In 2007, they also briefly attended Queen Mary University of London for a BA degree in Media, English. Lana then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Education from CUNY College of Staten Island, completing their studies from 2009 to 2011. Prior to their college education, Lana attended Susan Wagner High School from 2000 to 2004.
