Yiting (Angel) Xie is an accomplished engineering student at UCLA, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, Yiting serves as the Science Subteam Lead for the UCLA University Rover Challenge, and the Hybrid-Propellant Rocket Vehicle Modeling Lead for the Rocket Project at UCLA, achieving significant milestones such as a 15,812 ft apogee. Previous leadership roles include Outreach Chair for the SWE Advocacy Committee at UCLA, successfully organizing events with high engagement, and Project Manager and Secretary for the Irvine Valley College Applied Science and Engineering Club, where Yiting managed successful rocket launches. Earlier experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Living Loop, focusing on the design of intercity hyperloop systems. Educationally, Yiting holds two Associate of Science degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Irvine Valley College and a High School Diploma from Woodbridge High.
