Daniel San Martín has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Daniel started their career as a Consultant at Focus, Estudios y Consultorías, where they advised nonprofit organizations on strategy and organizational development. Daniel then worked at LATAM Airlines Group, where they held multiple roles, including Head of Business Management and Transformation Manager. At LATAM, they managed financial synergies after a merger, designed reporting processes, prepared management reports, and developed budgets. Daniel also worked as a Lecturer at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad del Desarrollo, teaching courses on innovation, digital adoption, and organizational change.

Daniel has also been involved in the startup scene, serving as the CFO & CCO at ALMA Suite, where they directed early-stage growth, secured partnerships, and led business planning efforts. Additionally, they worked as a Finance Manager at Tuune, an AI startup, and as a Financial Services Consultant at Medible. At Tuune, they developed financial planning strategies, managed relationships with auditors and accountants, and handled financial operations. At Medible, they provided financial services consulting.

Daniel San Martín has a diverse educational background. In 2003, they began their undergraduate studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where they pursued a double major in Economics and Business Administration. Additionally, they also pursued a minor in Sociology. In 2006, they participated in an exchange program at UC Santa Barbara, focusing on Economics and Finance. After completing their undergraduate studies, Daniel went on to pursue a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Cambridge from 2014 to 2015. During their time at Cambridge, they received a merit scholarship and focused on strategy and global business. More recently, in 2018-2019, Daniel studied at the Bologna Business School, specializing in Digital Technology Management with a track in Artificial Intelligence.
