Kati Lepojärvi

Kati Lepojärvi is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public service and advocacy. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for Rajavartiolaitos - The Finnish Border Guard since November 2019, Kati also holds positions as a Municipal Board Member, Chair, and Deputy Chair of Tuusula Council since June 2017. Previous roles include Head of Advocacy at The Finnish National Rescue Association SPEK, Deputy Director of WISE - Wider Security Network, and Secretary General/Editor-in-Chief at the Finnish Committee for European Security STETE. Kati began a career in advisory roles with the European Parliament from 2002 to 2005. Kati completed a degree at the University of Turku from 1999 to 2004.
