Byung-Ho Bae

Byung-Ho Bae is a seasoned product certification engineer with extensive experience in automotive homologation and compliance. Currently employed at TUV Nord since March 2018, Byung-Ho specializes in product certification processes. Prior roles include product certification engineer at Kiwa from July 2015 to February 2018, where expertise in gas automotive homologation was developed, and type approval engineer at VCA Asia Pacific from March 2014 to June 2015, recognized as an ECE/EC homologation expert. Before that, Byung-Ho held the position of project manager at TÜV SÜD Korea, overseeing type approvals and serving as an ISO 9001 auditor. Early career experience includes roles at GM Korea Company as assistant manager, focusing on interior design engineering, and design engineer at Samsung Heavy Industries. Byung-Ho holds a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering from Inha University.
