Software Test Team Lead at Tuxera

Mikko Kariola started their work experience in 2006 at Nokia, where they held various roles including R&D Engineer with project management responsibilities and Team Leader/ScrumMaster. Mikko was responsible for software development, test design, testing, and test automation. Mikko also managed projects and tool deployments. From 2012 to 2016, Mikko worked as a Capex Planner at Nokia, where they managed investments and monitored resources. From 2016 to 2019, they served as a Global R&D Lab Asset & Investment Manager, achieving cost avoidance and ensuring resource availability for R&D. In 2020, Mikko joined Tuxera as a Software Test Team Lead.

Mikko Kariola completed their education at Rastor-instituutti from 2021 to 2022, where they obtained a "Lähiesimiehen ammattitutkinto" degree. Prior to that, they attended Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1997 to 2005, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Telecommunication Systems. Additionally, Mikko Kariola holds the PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management, which they obtained from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2020.
